I'm Shireen Abu Akleh — most of you know me. I was a renowned Palestinian journalist conveying the horrors my people endure under Israeli occupation: killing, looting, and displacement. But exposing their crimes troubled them, so one of their snipers killed me while I covered a raid on Jenin refugee camp.I'm Razan al-Najjar, a paramedic. An Israeli sniper killed me as I carried out my humanitarian duty, treating the wounded targeted by occupation forces during the Great March of Return on the Gaza border.I'm Sheikh Suleiman al-Hathaleen, 70 years old. An Israeli police truck ran me over as I confronted one of their attempts to demolish and seize our property in Masafer Yatta, even though I was unarmed.I'm Ali Ayman Abu Alia. An Israeli soldier killed me on my 15th birthday, while I was protesting with my friends against the settlements that steal our parents' and grandparents' land, day after day.I'm Fadi Alwan, 19 years old. A group of extremist settlers attacked me in Jerusalem; I ran from them until I reached an Israeli police patrol, thinking they would save me. Instead, they killed me at the settlers' request — and pinned a fabricated stabbing charge on me.My name is Hind, I'm five years old. We were trying to escape to safety in my uncle's car when suddenly tanks surrounded us. They killed my entire family and left me alone with their bodies. I grabbed the phone and cried for a long time, begging the paramedics: "Come get me, I'm scared, the tank is right next to me." I thought the paramedics were on their way to rescue me, but the lights went out completely before they arrived, and my soul ascended to tell God everything. My name is Muhammad Abu Khdeir, 16 years old. Israeli settlers kidnapped me in Jerusalem as I was on my way to dawn prayer during the holy month of Ramadan. They tortured me, then burned me alive.I am Awni from Gaza, I am 13 years old. My dream was for my gaming channel on YouTube to have 100,000 subscribers, or a million or more! It was a dream as big as the sky! The dream came true, but only after the occupation's missiles killed me in my home with my family. My name is Ali Dawabsheh, 18 months old. This is my mother and my father with me in the photo. Settlers attacked our home in the village of Duma at night while we slept, set it on fire and trapped us in the flames. They burned me, my mother, and my father alive — only my brother Ahmad survived, with severe burns. My name is Reem, I'm 3 years old. My grandfather used to call me "the soul of my soul," and he loved me very much, and I loved him very much too... until the occupation's missiles killed me in my grandfather's house, and killed my brother Tariq with me. My grandfather cried for my loss, until they killed him too a year later, and we were reunited in heaven.I'm Muhammad Daadas, 15 years old. I lived in Askar refugee camp. An occupation soldier killed me in revenge after he was hit by a stone thrown by youths during clashes near the village of Deir al-Hatab — even though I wasn't part of the clashes; I was just standing and watching from a distance.I am Anas Al-Sharif, Al Jazeera's correspondent in Gaza. I dedicated my life to exposing the occupation's war of extermination against my people. I did everything in my power to make the world see our reality, until an Israeli airstrike took my life alongside several of my brave colleagues."I'm Shireen Abu Akleh — most of you know me.
